Decatur House is part of the White House Historical Association. Located across the street from the Northwest corner of Lafayette Square in Washington D.C., it is a premier event and wedding venue that touts its historical significance and classic Washington style. The WHHA approached us to design a pamphlet that would encourage wedding registrants more effectively, while at the same time keeping in tune with their heritage.

The concept of the tagline "Make History Your Story" blends the historical nature of the location, while at the same time encouraging guests to make the space their own.

All of the photography was conceptualized and sketched beforehand. Each image tried to blend the historical significance of the location with modern sensibilities.

The collateral was designed in a series of takeaway pieces. The enclosing envelope is reminiscent of an invitation. Smaller accordion-style pamphlets were included as leave behind pieces.
